Great
River is currently preparing design documents for a storm
water improvement project to relieve downtown flooding problems
in Sullivan.
The
project is highly constrained by existing utilities and
structures.
Flat terrain and low rock depth further
constrain the project.
The improvements include the installation
of approximately 1/2-mile of storm sewer ranging
from 18-inches to 72-inches in diameter, storm inlets,
street improvements, and utility relocations.
