Crawford County GIS

Project Overview
Crawford County has decided to go digital. Assessor, Kerry Summers, and the Crawford County Commission has selected Great River to bring their pen and ink mapping system into a GIS.

For this project, Great River is converting all Assessor parcel information located on their existing mylar tax maps and the Clerk district boundary information into an ArcGIS geodatabase. The new mapping system will provide better maintenance and viewing of the County data.

Once the system in complete, other County departments will be able to view this data, but only the Assessor's office will be able to make changes to it. Summers also plans on establishing an online data viewer available through a subscription service.
